Like most of us, I spent the majority of the 2 years of the COVID pandemic at home. I was lucky enough to buy a place with my husband and decorated it from scratch. I soon realised how much I loved every moment of this – from imagining the room layout and style, to picking out the furniture and accessories, building it or refurbishing old items.

Nothing beats the feeling of coming back to a cosy home that you love, where you surround yourself with items, materials or colours that bring you joy and serenity. I believe that this can be achieved without breaking the bank, and I’ve become quite good at it! I’ve helped friends and other people re-organise rooms to better utilise the space, make them feel more homely, or simply revamp & revitalise them – all while staying within or even usually below their budget.
